John Muir Statue: High Street, Dunbar.
Join me for an afternoon exploring the pretty Scottish town of Dunbar. Beautifully perched on the North Sea coast of East Lothian, at first glance it’s easy to dismiss this cosy town as mere eye candy. However, it actually has bags of history to back up its natural beauty.
The ruins of Dunbar Castle.
Let me take you to one of Scotland’s loveliest beaches. Check out the arresting ruins of an ancient castle and the town’s recently restored eighteenth century battery. Moreover, we’ll stroll down the charming High Street and pay our respects to John Muir, the hugely influential naturalist, author and philosopher.
