I consider myself lucky to know all kinds of talented people, many of whom I count as my closest friends…
As of September 2019 I’m delighted to have partnered up with Kimchibytes.com, an expats blog for people to share their thoughts and opinions about living in South Korea and abroad.
For unique, thought provoking sketches, videos and art installations check out the work of the brilliant Anthony Ragucci. I met Anthony in Beijing back in early 2014 and as teaching colleagues, neighbours and horror buffs we fast became good friends. Anthony is the creator of my original blog logo back when this site was first created as Leighton Literature.
I met Daryl in Cambodia on a bus from Siem Reap to Battambang on December the 5th, 2015. He’s now such a close friend it seems bizarre to think we haven’t known each other all our lives. A talented singer and former member of the Dublin Gospel Choir, Daryl is also a sporadic travel blogger whose tales drip with his trademark humour.
If you’re into world literature, or maybe even want to expand your literary horizons anew, look no further than worldlits.com, the homepage for literary-arts workshops and consultancy by Dr. Emma Dawson Varughese. Emma is a dear friend of mine who I met in Doha waaaay back in 2001. I particular recommend her brilliant UK roadshow Karvan, an interactive creative space that inspires us all to travel together. Check out Emma’s site for the full lowdown.
