In the autumn of 2021, we spent an entire month exploring the Bosnian capital, Sarajevo.
We arrived by private taxi from Budva, the final stop of an epic three-month journey around Montenegro. Lasting five and a half hours, the drive took us through some of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s most beautiful rural landscapes.

In fact, a stretch of the journey passed through Sutjeska National Park, and the scenery looked so magical that we instantly vowed to return one day and explore its trails on foot.
