Visit Banavie

Visit Banavie Scotland.

Visit Banavie: Old Banavie Road.

The tiny settlement of Banavie in The Scottish Highlands is certainly an idyllic place to live and grow up.

After all, the air is fresh, the entire place is green, it’s super safe and the sky is dominated by the ever dependable form of Ben Nevis. That’s the highest mountain in The British Isles, don’t you know.

Visit Banavie: The towering backdrop of Ben Nevis.

Luckily for me, this is where my sister lives with her husband and my little niece Alice. As a result, I usually find my way back here in between my various foreign adventures.

It’s pretty much the perfect place to reconnect. The ideal location to reflect, write, hike and jog. I’ve spent a heap of time here over the years and even held down a job at the local hotel for a while.
