In the summer of 2020 I released my first in-depth culinary guide, Where To Eat and Drink in Siem Reap. In the series, we tried to go above and beyond, reviewing as many places as possible.
Moreover, we went to meet various business owners to hear their backstories and find out how they were coping during the global pandemic.
When we arrived in Kampot in late July, Sladja and I were keen to use the Siem Reap blueprint on our new Cambodian base. However, would this altogether sleepier outpost live up to the incredible experiences we’d had in SR?
